On this trip, we will be heading up to 15-20 miles offshore. The tactics we will utilize on this trip will be slow trolling dead bait/lures or bump trolling and live lining live bait. For bottom fishing, we’ll use a combination of jigs and cut bait.

The range of this trip allows us to pursue king mackerel, false albacore, barracuda, and a shot at mahi-mahi while trolling.

Our targeted bottom fish will be black seabass, grunts, porgies, amberjacks, and cobia.

  • Up to 4 people - $50 per additional angler except children 12 & under. Up to 6 passengers total.

This trip allows up to push out even farther in pursuit of pelagics and hard-pulling bottom fish. The range of this trip can vary from 10-30 miles depending on where the bite is.

We will focus on the same techniques as the 6-hour trip with the ability to fish a little bit deeper water.

This trip allows for a greater likelihood of encountering mahi-mahi on the troll and tasty bottom fish like grouper and snapper.

The pelagics we may see on our 8-hour trip include mahi-mahi, king mackerel, barracuda, and possible sailfish depending on the time of year.

Bottom fish targets include grouper, snapper, seabass, grunts, triggerfish, and amberjacks.

This trip allows us to travel out to the Atlantic Ocean’s Gulf Stream. This South to North flow of warm water is where some of North Carolina’s most prized fish reside.

We’ll be using big tackle to do battle with big fish. Different species are more prominent during different times of the year so be sure to ask if you are looking to target something specifically.

A typical 12-hour trip consists of trolling and bottom fishing unless the trolling bite is hot or the group strictly wants to bottom fish.

Out in the stream, we will be targeting wahoo, mahi-mahi, tuna, sailfish, and blue marlin while trolling.

Targeted bottom fish will consist of grouper, snapper, triggerfish, and various jack species.

  • Up to 4 people - $50 per additional angler except children 12 & under. Up to 6 passengers total.
